Position Overview

Provides Behavioral Health Therapy/Services for inpatients, including assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Acts as an active member of the Treatment Team, designing and implementing individual treatment goals and interventions. Conducts individual and group therapy utilizing various modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Experience

• 1 Year experience in organizing and conducting therapeutic activities with an adult inpatient psychiatric population, or
• A combination of education and experience totaling 1-year direct patient contact with a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Art, Dance/Movement, Music Therapy, or related field, or
• 5 Years experience working in Behavioral Health with a Bachelor's Degree in any other field (Required)

• General experience in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• CTRS - Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (Preferred)
• ATR - Registered Art Therapist (Preferred)
