Role Purpose

The Behavioral Health Therapist works with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat mental and emotional disorders, promoting optimal mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and, when appropriate, family therapy to active clients.
• Updates treatment plans to reflect therapy goals and collaborates with other professionals regarding client progress and setbacks.
• Completes intakes for new clients, assessing eligibility based on symptoms, treatment history, and current needs.
• Develops and facilitates educational programs for clients.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Master's Degree in Social Services or related field

Experience

• 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

• No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Driver's License
• LCSW/LPC/LMFT or equivalent

Preferred Requirements

Experience

• 5-10 years
