Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to manage residential operations, provide supervision, and support the BHT team at our Bucks County program. You will help maintain a calm, recovery-focused environment and ensure adherence to program rules and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, CPR certification, and proven leadership with compassionate, boundary-setting skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, minimum one year of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character modeling recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications, etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment services. This facility partners exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living - a collection of luxurious sober living homes - to give clients the opportunity to engage in treatment while residing in a beautiful domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care.
