Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center seeks Behavioral Health Technicians for its Indianapolis detox and residential facility. You will manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, transportation, meals, and medications, while supporting the BHT team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) team in operations.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead BHT.
• Foster client engagement and morale within a recovery-focused environment.
• Ensure compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.

Now Hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts (First: 7am - 3:30 pm, Second: 3pm - 11:30pm, and Third: 11pm - 7:30am) for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Indianapolis, IN.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
