Job summary

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to support youth and adults through structured, therapeutic programs in Chandler, Tempe, Glendale, Phoenix, and Casa Grande.

You will supervise groups, facilitate sessions, support treatment goals, document progress, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with clinical teams.

Minimum qualifications: AZ BHT/Para Professional licensing, 21+, HS diploma or GED, valid AZ driver’s license and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals.
• 21+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid AZ Driver's License and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to obtain an AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Unrestricted).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety.
• Facilitate groups, activities, and skill-building sessions.
• Support treatment goals and behavior plans.
• Assist with documentation and case coordination.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Support academics (CHOICE).
• Participate in recreation and movement-based activities (Therapeutic Rec).
• Collaborate with clinical and program teams.
