Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Lake Ariel, PA is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to support daily residential operations in our 60-bed detox and inpatient program. You will supervise, assist with intake, transport, meals, and client activities while upholding safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience in recovery field.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
