Our Behavioral Health Technician serves as a direct care role with primary responsibilities including interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders, and has a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under passionate leadership, Pyramid Healthcare in Harford offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare to help clients overcome challenges and regain health.

Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00/hour before differentials!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
2. Maintain client documentation
3. Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
4. Coordinate client activities
5. Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
6. Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide response including crisis intervention
7. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
8. Assist with dietary needs of clients
9. Complete all required trainings
10. Other duties as assigned
