Parkdale Center in Chesterton, IN is hiring a Part Time Behavioral Health Technician to support patients in mental health settings under clinical supervision. Behavioral Health Technicians play a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges by providing direct care and assistance under the supervision of clinical staff. Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and clinical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Behavioral Health Technician or equivalent credential.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances (SED).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.
• Training in trauma-informed care and de‑scalation strategies.
• Additional coursework or certification in crisis management or psychiatric rehabilitation.
