Paragon Behavioral Health Services, now part of the DTAC family, seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support children, adolescents, and families in the Wyomissing community. This in-person role provides individualized care under clinical supervision.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, collecting progress data, and collaborating with the treatment team while maintaining professional documentation and compliance.

• Collaborate with supervisors and treatment team members
• Participate in required training and maintain compliance standards
• Represent the organization professionally in all interactions

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-on-one therapeutic support to children and adolescents, implementing individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision. This role is essential in helping clients develop positive behaviors, coping skills, and social functioning in home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral health services to children and adolescents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow treatment plans

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Education, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in another field with at least 1 year of experience working with children or adolescents
• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits with 3+ years of relevant experience

Requirements

• Ability to obtain PA clearances (Criminal Background, FBI, Child Abuse)
• Completion of required trainings prior to independent work
• Commitment to compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards

Work Location

This is an in-person position based in Wyomissing, PA. Candidates must be able to reliably commute.
