Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I in Saint Charles, MO for a full-time overnight role within Recovery Services. The technician will provide direct and supportive care, monitor daily activities, and assist with crises, education, and structured activities while following the client’s treatment plan.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent with at least two years of responsible employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an integral member of the treatment team and support clients daily.
• Monitor daily activities and intervene during crises as directed by the team.
• Document client behaviors and progress in the treatment plan.
• Assist with admission/orientation, vital signs collection, and safety checks as applicable.
• Provide transportation support for clients when needed.
• Ensure adherence to program policies and collaborate with nursing staff on medication policies.

This includes monitoring daily activities, intervening/responding to crises, facilitating group education and structured activities, and transporting clients as needed. Behavioral Health Technicians are responsible for understanding the client's/patient's treatment plan, documenting their behaviors, and providing a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.**Key Responsibilities:*** **Active Participation:** Participate as an integral member of the treatment team, assisting in identifying client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
