Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dependable Behavioral Health Technician Lead to support our overnight team at the Prince George County Facility in Bowie, MD. This leadership role supervises BHT staff, coordinates overnight operations, and ensures a safe, structured environment for clients in treatment.

The ideal candidate has prior behavioral health experience, strong communication and scheduling skills, and a willingness to mentor others.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong leadership and training experience preferred.
Background in behavioral health or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with training and onboarding new Behavioral Health Technicians.
Delegate tasks and provide direction to BHT staff during assigned shifts.
Assist with creating and maintaining staff, holiday, and outreach schedules.
Provide coverage during days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on program needs.
Verify client leave passes and monitor clients’ treatment plans while on pass.
Check clients in and out as necessary.
Conduct breathalyzer and urinalysis testing as required.
Participate in peer support consultations.
Provide crisis intervention and respond appropriately to client needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate important updates to the treatment team.
Help ensure a safe, clean, and orderly treatment environment.

Pay: $15.00/hour + applicable overnight shift differentials

As a BHT Lead, you will help coordinate overnight operations, support Behavioral Health Technicians, respond to client needs, and assist with maintaining a high standard of care.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred.
Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
