Henry Ford Health’s Jackson hospital campus is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will support patients with addiction, behavioral health challenges, and mental health needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will assess and document patient status, collaborate with clinicians, and contribute to care plans while maintaining compassion, empathy, and professionalism in a community-focused setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-year college experience in Behavioral Health, Allied Health, Psychology, or related field, OR BH Technician experience.
• Ability to physically manage patients.
• BLS Heartsaver certification required during orientation.
• WELLE training within first 3 months (location-specific).

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with addiction, behavioral problems, or mental health challenges.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment to maximize patient wellbeing.
• Interact positively with patients, offering comfort, empathy, encouragement, and support.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver quality, safe care.
• Notify managers of significant patient care issues as needed.
