Job summary

The OCD Anxiety Centers is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in an intensive outpatient program. You will engage clients, assist therapists, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment on the treatment floor.

Responsibilities include facilitating groups, documenting progress, and upholding OCD Anxiety Centers standards while promoting patient engagement and care quality.

Qualifications

  • Some college or related field experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engages clients through clinical interactions, assisting with skill development and interventions.
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care and maintain effective client interactions.
  • Validate in a warm environment and keep clients motivated to work through distress.
  • Facilitate IOP groups and manage homework collection, documentation, and feedback to therapists.
  • Monitor daily activities and implement the treatment plan.
  • Efficiently manage resources to maximize benefits for clients and staff.
  • Plan, organize, and implement group lesson plans.
  • Maintain all progress notes and group therapy documentation.
  • Master de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
  • Encourage team engagement and uphold OCD Anxiety Center values.
  • Contribute to client satisfaction and align actions with the organization’s mission.
  • Follow policies, present professionally, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
