A healthcare organization is hiring for a critical role in Quakertown, PA, focusing on residential and outpatient treatment services. The position involves direct interaction with clients, monitoring their treatment, and assisting with clinical tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably experience in Drug and Alcohol or Mental Health. Summary

An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. This is a direct care position with the primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. The role assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs. Pay: $15 before shift differentials. Available Shifts: 1st Shift 7am-3pm and 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm.

Shift Differentials

• 1st Shift differentials: (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00
• 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00; (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
• 3rd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.50; (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with the intake process for new clients into the program.
• Communicate with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, and be responsible for detailed client logs.
• Listen to clients concerning all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
• Coordinate activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Conduct mandatory bed checks as required per department and complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting.
• Attend shift changes, team meetings, and company meetings.
• Ensure the client schedule is being followed daily.
• Assist with interventions with clients.
• Follow the objectives of treatment plans.
• Monitor the medication line.
• Transport clients to meetings and recreation.
• Conduct searches of clients when they return to the facility.
• Monitor treatment for necessary hygiene and medical needs.
• Uphold therapeutic boundaries and the staff code of ethics.
• Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide input.
• Distribute client snacks as needed.
• Train new staff on the unit, program, and milieu.
• Help with the upkeep of the facility.
• Assist clients with obtaining a sponsor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience (preferred).
• Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions.
