Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician at our California, Maryland facility to provide direct client care and supervision in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings for adults with substance use and mental health disorders.

The role focuses on supporting treatment-plan objectives, documenting care, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment, with a scheduled overnight shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Behavioral health or general healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, documentation, and interpersonal skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities and provide direct supervision.
• Follow treatment-plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
• Evaluate clients’ behavioral and emotional needs and provide appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and therapeutic environment.
• Assist with clients’ dietary needs.
• Complete all required and mandatory training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Starting Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour before applicable differentials

Job Summary

Pyramid Healthcare is dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered behavioral healthcare. Our California, Maryland, facility offers outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for adults experiencing substance use disorders, mental health disorders, co-occurring disorders, and problem gambling. We also provide psychiatric services, including medication management.

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing direct care, interacting with and supervising clients, supporting treatment-plan objectives, and maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
