Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Missouri is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide direct and supportive care to clients in a residential and withdrawal management setting. You will monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience; willingness to learn, document behaviors accurately, and collaborate with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; two years in human services preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Ability to document client information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and supportive care to clients; monitor vital signs and observe withdrawal symptoms.
• Oversee medication administration per policy and ensure safety under supervision.
• Document client behaviors and progress; communicate with treatment team; participate in crisis intervention.
• Assist with daily activities and transport clients as needed; maintain a safe environment.
