Clive Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients from preschool to geriatrics. Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

The position may require weekends, overtime and flexible hours as part of a dynamic care environment focused on crisis stabilization and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients ranging in ages from preschool through geriatrics.
• All MHTs work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). MHTs may be required to work weekends, overtime and have flexible hours.
