Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA, is seeking Mental Health Technicians to join the behavioral health team. Full-time roles include every other weekend rotations with 12-hour shifts (6:30am-7:00pm or 6:30pm-7:00am) and active patient care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology-related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitors unit milieu and helps to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Leads activity groups for patients according to the program schedule.
• Conducts patient observation rounds throughout the shift to ensure safety.
• Works collaboratively with unit nursing staff on patient care activities.
• Responds to patient crisis events accordingly using de-escalation techniques.
