Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking Mental Health Technicians to support inpatient behavioral health care in Shippensburg, PA. You will work as part of a treatment team under a Registered Nurse, providing compassionate patient care across adolescent to geriatric ages.

Full-time roles include 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation; part-time and PRN options are also available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field is highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitors unit milieu and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Leads activity groups for patients per the program schedule.
• Conducts patient observation rounds to ensure safety.
• Collaborates with unit nursing staff on patient care activities.
• Responds to patient crises using de-escalation techniques.
