Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Harford County, Maryland. The role supports inpatients in treatment, interacting with and supervising clients across shifts, including weekends.

The team provides care for substance use, mental health, and related conditions in a structured setting. The position emphasizes intake processing, documentation, and collaboration with the treatment team to meet individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients into the program.
• Maintain client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow the objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs.
• Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
• Assist with the dietary needs of clients.
• Complete all required training.
• Other duties as assigned.
