Emend Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct support to clients in our Anchorage treatment program. You will engage with clients through the treatment process, help maintain a structured, safe environment, and support daily activities, transportation, and program operations.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will monitor client wellbeing, document in the EHR, participate in meetings, and uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards while fostering

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid Alaska driver's license.
• Ability to pass state and federal background screenings.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients within the treatment environment.
• Build positive rapport with clients and encourage participation in treatment activities.
• Monitor client behavior, safety, and wellbeing and communicate concerns to staff.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, transportation, appointments, meals, and community activities.
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as needed.
• Conduct room checks, safety checks, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Document in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
