Job summary

Northstar Behavioral Health Network is seeking compassionate professionals to join a team serving individuals with substance use disorders in Minnesota. As a driver and support staff, you will administer client medications, transport clients to appointments, and help maintain a safe, structured residential environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• CPR/First Aid Certification or attain within 30 days of employment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Knowledge of MN Statutes related to NBHN services and compliance.
• Must understand and follow NBH's Drug and Alcohol Policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Administer client medications and document accordingly.
• Transport clients to appointments and related activities.
• Ensure passengers are compliant, safe, and non-volatile.
• Maintain knowledge of program philosophy, policies, and 245G rules.
• Assist counselors with intake procedures and orientation.
• Complete clerical tasks and update Excel spreadsheets.
• Participate in client recreational activities and engage with the community.
