Hickory Recovery is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in Lawrence, IN. The BHT acts as a bridge between clients, clinical staff, and medical personnel to support the implementation of person-centered treatment plans.

Reporting to the BHT Manager, you will observe, document, and report client activities while providing structure and support. Responsibilities include engaging with clients, maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, supporting group sessions, and ensuring safety and infection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and communicate effectively by telephone and in person.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and families.
• Follow directives, adhere to policies, provide client-centered service, and manage time well.
• Scheduling flexibility, including holiday and weekend rotation, is required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Interact daily with clients and support individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain ethical boundaries and ensure client confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure attendance at sessions and adherence to daily schedules.
• Monitor client activities and enforce treatment center rules.
• Assist with phone use, computer time, and mealtime supervision.
• Document client interactions accurately in the EMR and maintain records.
