Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a direct care professional to assist in residential and outpatient treatment settings in Dallas, PA. You will supervise and interact with clients, support clinical and administrative teams, and help identify client needs with opportunities for advancement across several care roles.

Positions are available at multiple locations and states, with a focus on compassionate, client-centered care and ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in hospital or behavioral healthcare environment preferred.
  • Driver's license required.
  • CPR within 30 days of hire.
  • Safety training upon hire.
  • Strong communication and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to transport clients frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program
  • Maintain client documentation
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
  • Coordinate client activities
  • Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
  • Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment
  • Assist with the dietary needs of clients
  • Complete all required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Summary:

An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services, this direct care position primarily involves interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. The role assists clinical and administrative teams in identifying and serving client needs. Pay:

$15/hr before shift differentials.

Shift:
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Friday - Tuesday - Days Off: Wednesday and Thursday
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Sunday - Thursday - Days Off: Friday and Saturday
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Tuesday - Saturday - Days Off: Sunday and Monday
Shift Differential Information:

7:00am - 3:00pm - Saturday and Sunday ($1.00 extra for shift differential)

3:00pm - 11:00pm - Monday - Friday ($1.00 extra for shift differential) Saturday and Sunday ($1.50 extra for shift differential)

11:00pm - 3:00pm - Monday - Friday ($1.50 extra for shift differential) Saturday and Sunday ($1.50 extra for shift differential)

Responsibilities:
  • Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program

Required Qualifications:
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience in a hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus
  • Active valid driver’s license
  • CPR course required within 30 days of hire
  • Completion of various safety training upon hire
  • Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Capability to perform frequent extended transports
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Excellent customer service skills
