Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Clarksville is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clinical teams across admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones. You will help create a warm, recovery-focused environment and ensure safety by enforcing policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR certification; if you are in recovery, a year of sobriety is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
