Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is looking for passionate Behavioral Health Technicians at our Baton Rouge facility. You will provide essential support to our medical and clinical teams, engage clients, and ensure a safe recovery environment.

We are seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians for our facility in Baton Rouge, LA!

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and accelerate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)

What We’re Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
