Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to support clinical teams in admissions, patient care, and daily operations. You will foster a warm recovery environment and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, clean driving record, CPR certification, and a genuine passion for helping others through recovery.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff.
Record and upscale any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner.
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.).

What You'll Do
