Job summary

Pathways is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one services for children and adolescents aged 2–24 with emotional and behavioral needs. You will travel to clients' homes or schools daily and implement prescribed treatment plans while setting boundaries to foster independence.

With guidance from a Behavioral Consultant, you will educate families, deliver culturally competent care, and support parents and professionals to reinforce positive behaviors.

Qualifications

• Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• 2+ years of behavioral health certification or related certification.
• High school diploma plus 40-hour RBT training or ability to complete within 10 days.
• Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral health services to youth ages 2–24.
• Travel to clients' homes/schools/service locations daily and follow treatment plans.
• Set boundaries with clients and families to prevent dependency.
• Educate and train parents/adults to use skills with positive reinforcement.

About your Role:

Asa Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily being sure to follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client. Setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services as you also provide support to parents and adult professionals. Being sure to educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision

• Certified asBCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• 2 years’ priorBehavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
• High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire- you will be paid for this training time)
• Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services
