Pathways is seeking an Asa Behavioral Health Technician to deliver one-to-one services to children and adolescents 2–24 with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. You will travel daily to clients’ homes or schools, following the treatment plan and providing interventions and coaching to clients and families.

You will educate and train parents and young adults, reinforce positive skills, and ensure culturally competent care while setting appropriate boundaries and supporting professionals

Formación

• 2 years’ prior Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization.
• High School diploma or equivalent with completed 40hr RBT Training (or ability to complete within 10 days).
• Minimum of 2 years experience providing Behavioral Health services.

Responsabilidades

• Travel daily to clients' home, school, or service location following the prescribed plan.
• Set boundaries with clients and families to prevent dependency and educate parents.
• Provide culturally aware and competent service and training to families and professionals.

Description

About your Role:

Asa Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily being sure to follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client. Setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services as you also provide support to parents and adult professionals. Being sure to educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision

• Certified asBCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• 2 years’ priorBehavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
• High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire- you will be paid for this training time)
• Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services
