Job summary

Pathways is seeking an Asa Behavioral Health Technician to deliver one-to-one behavioral health services to children and adolescents, traveling daily to homes and school sites to implement treatment plans. You will set boundaries, coach families, and reinforce skills with cultural sensitivity.

Under supervision, you will help clients achieve independent functioning and support parents and professionals, contributing to licensure and ongoing education through supervised training.

Qualifications

• Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire).
• Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral health services to children/adolescents (ages 2-24).
• Travel daily to clients' home/school/service location following treatment plans.
• Educate and train parents/young adults to use skills and provide positive reinforcement.

Education

Description

Asa Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily being sure to follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client. Setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services as you also provide support to parents and adult professionals. Being sure to educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision

Qualifications

• Certified asBCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.
• 2 years’ priorBehavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
• High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire- you will be paid for this training time)
• Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services
