Job summary

Odyssey House Louisiana, Inc. seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to supervise clients at the West Bank campus, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will collaborate with clinical and medical staff to ensure comprehensive substance use disorder treatment services.

Required are a high school diploma, 2+ years of BH tech experience, CPI de-escalation training, and strong communication skills. OHL offers a competitive benefits package including health/dental/vision and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of Behavioral Health Tech experience in acute psychiatric or substance use disorder treatment.
• CPI de-escalation training knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for clients.
• Observe and document client behavior and progress.
• Supervise clients 24/7 at the West Bank campus.
• Assist with therapeutic and recreational activities.
• Communicate feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
