Camber Children’s Mental Health in Wichita, KS is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. You will provide care, supervision, and support to help young people achieve treatment goals in a safe, therapeutic environment.

This role offers multiple schedules including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with starting pay at $18.00 per hour and shift differentials based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of related experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision to children and youth in our facility.
• Support daily activities and reinforce treatment plans developed by nurses and therapists.
• Teach coping techniques and positive behavior skills.
• Document client activity and progress.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all clients.

Shifts Available:

• Full Time/Part Time, 1st Shift: 7am- 3:30pm
• Full Time/Part Time, 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm
• Full Time/Part Time, 3rd Shift: 11pm- 7:30am
• PRN

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited high school
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance
• Experience: 1–3 months of related experience and/or training working with adults or children in a behavioral health care or similar environment preferred
• Must be at least 20 years old to apply
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
