Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations such as intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medication administration.
• Train and support the BHT team in all operational responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Work Environment

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 40-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient services, located on 5.19 acres in the Poconos Mountains. It provides a supportive setting for clients to recover, with a dedicated staff committed to dignity and compassion.
