The team serves clients in the greater Chicago and Oklahoma City areas, collaborating closely with caregivers and educators to create positive outcomes.

Role Description

The Behavioral Health Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area. This role supports individuals with autism and related needs by implementing ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed or certified clinician. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, collecting and recording behavioral data, following behavior intervention plans, and reinforcing skill-building across communication, social, and daily living domains. The technician will collaborate with clinical staff and families, participate in team meetings and training, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment in home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis for implementing structured treatment plans.
  • Proficiency in Communication skills, including clear documentation, active listening, and collaboration with caregivers and clinical teams.
  • Ability to complete training in Behavioral Intervention to address challenging behaviors ethically and effectively.
  • Ability to collect and interpret behavioral data, follow detailed clinical instructions, and adapt strategies based on feedback.
  • High level of patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with individuals with special needs and their families.
  • Preferred: Experience in autism services or ABA settings; relevant certification (e.g., Registered Behavior Technician) is a plus.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chicago Area, reliably travel to client locations, and meet any state or organizational background check requirements.
