Job summary

Bristol Facilities in Sarasota, FL seeks caring individuals to support nursing staff and maintain a safe, structured environment. You’ll observe patient conditions, assist with daily activities, and report to the Charge Nurse and DON. Flexible shifts available, part-time or full-time.

You’ll engage patients in activities, document information, and participate in educational groups. A positive, empathetic attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately.
• Capable of verbally and physically assisting patients.
• Position is for all shifts, part-time or full-time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to patient safety and provide excellent customer services.
• Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive and structured environment.
• Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record.
• Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
• Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills and independent living skills.
• Engage patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
• Complete and maintain required documentation.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers.
• Team Members may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
