Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide residential care for female youth ages 13-17 in the Parkville area, supporting a trauma-focused residential program for survivors of human trafficking and trauma.

The role includes implementing daily activities, supervising behavior, assisting with daily living skills and meals, and helping youths participate in education and vocational training. Shifts include morning, afternoon, and overnight, with immediate start offered.

Qualifications

• Compassionate about the care and well being of others.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in a residential setting serving children and youth.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and your own transportation.
• Ability to complete and pass background check.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and behavioral support to residents in the residential program.
• Implement daily activities, individual plan goals, and monitor resident behavior.
• Assist residents with daily living skills including hygiene, dressing, and personal belongings.
• Assist in healthy eating by preparing meals and snacks.
• Develop and participate in resident activities and outings, including education and vocational training.
• Other duties assigned.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide therapeutic and/or behavioral support to children and youth participating in the residential program.
• Implement daily activities, individual plan treatment goals, and monitor resident behavior.
• Assist in monitoring residents' daily living skills, including personal hygiene, dressing, and care of possessions.
• Assist in supporting healthy eating behaviors by preparing meals and snacks.
• Assist in monitoring and increasing resident life skills development.
• Develop, implement, and participate in all resident activities and outings, including recreational activities, education and vocational training.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
