• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.

Department/Unit Summary

Join our team! The 12-bed Behavioral Health Unit is staffed with 1 nurse and 1 Behavioral Health Technician for up to 8 patients on both day and night shifts. When the census reaches 9-12 patients , an additional nurse or technician is added. Behavioral Health Technicians are dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing behavioral health and mental health challenges. The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to promote patient safety, stabilization, and recovery in a therapeutic environment.

How you'll contribute:

• Education: High School Diploma
