Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) in Minnesota to support children with autism through ABA techniques. You will work 1:1 with clients, encouraging development and documenting progress in line with individualized treatment plans.

No prior behavioral health experience is required, and you will receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Caravel offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
• Available to work full-time 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Play and encourage little learners while following each client’s individualized treatment plan targets.
• Document progress and record outcomes of client sessions.
• Facilitate communication and enhance independence in daily activities.
• Structured, 1:1 client sessions; no group billing.

Requirements

• Availability to work full-time between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Centers are open periodically on Saturdays for make-up client sessions.)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
