Caravel Autism Health is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA-based sessions in Cedar Rapids, IA. You’ll assist clinicians, implement treatment targets, document progress, and help clients build communication and daily living skills.

No prior behavioral health experience is required; we provide paid training and support to obtain the RBT credential. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

At Caravel, our BTs change lives daily. We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills. Requirements

• Availability to work full-time between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Centers are open periodically on Saturdays for make-up client sessions.)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
