Epiphany Wellness LLC in Blackwood, NJ seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in recovery. You will maintain a safe, structured environment, observe medication administration, perform urinalysis and breathalyzer testing, and document shifts and intakes.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and at least 1 year in recovery/substance abuse settings. The position is full-time with a split shift and competitive hourly pay up to $21, plus benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in Recovery/Substance Abuse field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, structured environment and follow schedules.

• Respond to crises and escalate as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments per policy.

We are looking for a Behavioral Health Technician who will work closely with clients to support their rehabilitation needs, providing structured and holistic support that helps clients build the skills needed to overcome, heal, and sustain long-term recovery.

Up to $21 / per hour

Schedule:

SPLIT SHIFT: Mon / Tues / Thurs - 4pm to 8:30pm and Fri / Sat - 12am to 8:30am EST

What will your day look like? You will:

• Maintain a safe, structured environment for clients through regular rounds, observation, and adherence to daily/weekly schedules.
• Observe medication that is a controlled substance and ensure clients complete self-observation sheets.
• Perform urinalysis and breathalyzer testing as assigned, documenting and reporting results to the appropriate supervisor.
• Transport clients to appointments, clinical services, and activities in accordance with Epiphany’s driving policy.
• Complete accurate documentation for intakes, rounds, and shift notes, and communicate clearly through BHT chat.
• Respond to crisis situations, including SI/HI reporting, client altercations, relapse, or AMA situations, and elevate through the proper chain of command.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and staff, and stay flexible for schedule needs including last-minute coverage.

What you will need for this position:

• Minimum of 1 year in the Recovery/Substance Abuse field (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and Standard First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Working knowledge of 12-Step Program, AA or NA (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License with a minimum 2-year clean driving record (required).
