Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to work in a residential facility for adolescents in Columbus, Ohio. The role provides direct supervision, behavioral support, and participation in therapeutic programming to promote safety and progress toward treatment goals.

We hire for all shifts, including 2nd shift with a $2.00/hour differential; pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in behavioral health, social services, residential treatment, or a related field.
• Strong communication, documentation, and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of residents.
• Provide structure and implement appropriate behavioral interventions.
• Document interactions and progress using EMR and daily logs.
• Co-facilitate therapy and psychoeducational groups.
• Support residents in achieving individualized treatment goals.
• Engage youth in structured activities and one-on-one mentoring.
• Communicate observations and concerns to clinical leadership.
• Assist clinical and case management teams as needed.
• Transport residents to appointments when required.
• Administer medications if properly trained.
• Participate in required training and professional development.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour for 2nd shift

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (+$2.00/hour differential)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Weekend availability required as scheduled

Position Summary
