Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) in Lewisburg, PA seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support male adolescents in a residential program. This entry-level role includes training and opportunities to grow within a structured setting.

You will assist with supervision, engage youth in activities, document progress, and work closely with clinical staff to support treatment goals. This in-person role offers a rewarding path in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain PA clearances (Act 33, Criminal History, FBI Act 73) and pass Safe Crisis Management training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of residents.
• Support appropriate behavior and social interaction.
• Document daily activities, progress notes, and staff logs.
• Assist with structured programming and recreational activities.
• Participate in on-site and off-site activities with residents.
• Engage youth in one-on-one interactions when appropriate.
• Support youth in meeting treatment plan goals.
• Co-facilitate group activities and assist clinical staff as needed.
• Maintain communication with staff regarding shift availability and updates.

Pay: From $17.00 - $20.00

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician assists Caseworkers and program staff in providing supervision, structure, and basic therapeutic support for youth in care. This role focuses on safety, engagement, and helping youth build positive behaviors and life skills.

Key Responsibilities
