Qualifications

Job Overview

Behavioral Health Technician to provide residential care for youth ages 13-17 recovering from human trafficking and complex trauma in the Arnold Area.

Schedule and Compensation

• Immediate start
• Competitive compensation; weekly processing
• Shifts available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11am-7pm; 7 days a week; flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and/or behavioral support to children and youth in the residential program.
• Implement daily activities, individual plan treatment goals, and monitor resident behavior.
• Assist residents with daily living skills, including personal hygiene, dressing, and care of possessions.
• Support healthy eating behaviors by preparing meals and snacks.
• Monitor and increase residents’ life skill development.
• Develop, implement, and participate in all resident activities and outings, including recreational activities, education, and vocational training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in a residential setting serving children and youth (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete and pass a background check.
