Job summary

Delta-T Group's client seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide residential care for youth ages 13-17 in Arnold, Maryland, supporting trauma-focused treatment in a residential program.

You will lead daily activities, monitor progress, assist with personal care, meals, life skills, and coordinate outings and education as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• 2+ years of experience in a residential setting serving children and youth preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and your own transportation
• Ability to complete and pass background check
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and behavioral support within a residential program.
• Implement daily activities and monitor resident behavior.
• Assist with daily living skills, personal hygiene, dressing, and possessions.
• Assist with meals and snacks to support healthy eating habits.
• Support life skills development and coordinate activities and outings.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Our Client is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide for residential care to support trauma-focused residential program for youth ages 1317 recovering from human trafficking and complex trauma in Arnold Area.

• Schedules Available
• Morning 7am-3pm, Afternoon 3pm-11pm and overnight 11am-7pm available 7 days a week with flexible Shifts.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide therapeutic and/or behavioral support to children and youth participating in the residential program.
• Implement daily activities, individual plan treatment goals, and monitor resident behavior.
• Assist in monitoring residents' daily living skills, including personal hygiene, dressing, and care of possessions.
• Assist in supporting healthy eating behaviors by preparing meals and snacks.
• Assist in monitoring and increasing resident life skills development.
• Develop, implement, and participate in all resident activities and outings, including recreational activities, education and vocational training.
