Centurion is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Dade Correctional Institution in Florida City. responsibilities include participating in treatment planning, supervising patients, and delivering education on daily living activities in a correctional health setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, 2+ years in activities programming for seriously mentally ill patients, Excel scheduling proficiency, and active BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology is required.
• Two years or more experience providing activities programming for patients with serious mental illness.
• Excel skills to create and manage scheduling databases.
• Active BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings.
• Implement interventions for patients in a correctional mental health/healthcare setting.
• Supervise patients and provide formal education in daily living activities.
• Provide care and activities programming and social rehabilitation and leisure activities.
• Assist in records preparation and maintenance and schedule telepsychiatry appointments.
