Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center is seeking a patient care support professional to facilitate the therapeutic environment within the psychiatric unit and assist patients with daily living activities. You will establish therapeutic relationships with assigned patients and participate in group therapy, education sessions, and staff meetings.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of experience.
• Certification: CPR.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens.
• Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.
• Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit
• Assists patients with daily living activities
• Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients
• Performs related duties as required.
