Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech at OK-SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest. This PRN position supports adult 2 East Behavioral Health with direct patient care and therapeutic interventions under RN guidance.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, observing patient behavior, and maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu. Requires an associate's degree in behavioral health or related field; no experience is required. BLS HCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in behavioral health or a related field is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification by American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with direct patient care and therapeutic interventions per RN assignments.
• Observes and records patient behavior; reports changes and suggests plan modifications.
• Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
• Participates in therapeutic groups and maintains the milieu.
• Monitors patient safety, including rounds and safety checks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
