Job summary

Renaissance Healthcare Group, LLC DBA Pasadena Villa seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support residents, ensure safety, and maintain a therapeutic milieu. You will document in records and collaborate with the clinical team to address changing client needs.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least 1 year in behavioral health. Responsibilities include rounds, activity engagement, ADL support, meal supervision, and coordinating healthcare visits with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Position requires High School or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record.
• Clearance of criminal background and TB test; CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures client rounding and safety checks are completed according to clinical criteria.
• Actively engages clients in therapeutic activities in the milieu and outside activities throughout the workday.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and completes regular room hygiene checks.
• Prompts clients to attend meals and provides supervision at mealtimes.
• Documents services, incident reports, and shift reports accurately and timely.
• Coordinates healthcare visits with nursing and ensures timely access to services.
