COMHAR's Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for per diem work in the Philadelphia area. The role provides one-to-one mental health interventions to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, aiming to reduce need for more restrictive services.

You will collaborate with families, teachers and school personnel to implement the treatment plan, promote age-appropriate growth, and ensure safety.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or higher.
• Must be able to complete 64 hours of paid training upon hire.
• Ability to provide one-to-one behavioral health interventions.

Mansioni

• Provide one-to-one mental health interventions to the child or adolescent.
• Support families, teachers and school staff to implement the treatment plan.
• Promote age-appropriate self-management and social skills.
• Ensure safety of the child and others in home/school/community.
