Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients from admission through discharge, contribute to treatment planning, and help maintain safety and daily program routines.

The role includes leading groups, assisting nursing staff, documenting notes, transporting patients when needed, and upholding patient confidentiality in a full-time onsite schedule (Tue, Fri, Sat, 2pm–12am).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• One or more years experience working within the mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient supervision and interventions as directed to ensure safety.
• Lead psychoeducational groups and support treatment planning.
• Document shift notes, group notes, and other required records.
• Assist nursing staff with duties and patient transportation when needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and perform basic housekeeping.
• Attend staff meetings and complete online trainings.

Education
